Black Volcanic Lava Rocks

Black volcanic lava rocks are porous stones formed after volcanic eruptions and are very precious. The magma ejected during the eruption includes gas slag and solid magma. The temperature and pressure drop rapidly, and chemical and physical changes occur, so the magma becomes volcanic rock.

Lava has a variety of uses in construction. For example, crushed basalt is used to make foundations for roads and sidewalks, as part of concrete mixes for railway construction, and as filter stone in drainage works. Many farmers and gardeners use basalt dust fertilizer because it helps promote plant growth while making it difficult for weeds to spread in flower beds or other unwanted growth areas. It can also be used as a fuel for fireplaces and barbecues and is very versatile.
