Where some stones are polished creating a high-maintenance, high shine, a polished finish is left with its natural matte effect. This creates a subtle contemporary look which blends in with its environment.
It’s a great finish in terms of practicality for two reasons. A polished finish has a lower slip-resistance making it ideal for flooring in family environments where the risk of skids and falls is increased.Secondly, it’s a durable finish, requiring a low-level of maintenance. A polished finish only needs a regular clean to keep it looking its best. In fact, wear and tear only adds to the stone’s natural look and feel.
